How do we show other people that we love them? We love our parents and show it by listening to them. We show our love for spouses by respecting them even when we disagree with them. We have to learn how to love brothers and sisters or we will never know how to love other people, for it is said that if we treated our friends rhe way we treat members of our fa,ilies, we would have fewer if any friends.
Jesus and the Father love everybody. Yet Jesus says that if we do not love Jesus and God, then God and Jesus will not love us. This sounds ominous. It is not that Jesus and the Father will stop loving us, but that we will block ourselves from experiencing this love. God always loves us even when we do not love God.
